What every Garden Haul cart shares

  • Two ways to pull

A flip handle switches between hand pulling for small jobs and a hitch for towing behind a riding lawn mower, lawn tractor, or ATV when the load gets heavy.

  • Sides that come off

Mesh steel side panels fold down or detach completely, turning the cart into a flatbed for branches, fence posts, and oversized cargo.

  • Tires that take the ground

Pneumatic tires absorb shock and roll over grass, gravel, and mud, with front wheels that swivel 240 degrees for tight turns.

About Garden Haul

Garden Haul started with a simple frustration: the wheelbarrow tips, the bucket is too small, and the pickup truck is overkill for a pile of branches at the back of the lot. So we narrowed our catalog to garden carts that do one thing well, which is carry a lot of weight over uneven ground without fighting you.

Every cart we sell is built around a fully welded metal frame with a rust-resistant coating, because a cart that lives outdoors should survive outdoors. The mesh steel sides fold down or lift off, so the same cart that holds leaves in October can carry lumber in April as a flatbed.

The handle is where most carts fall short, so ours flips. Pull it by hand across the lawn, or switch it to the hitch and let a riding mower or ATV do the work on long hauls. Front wheels swivel 240 degrees and the handle adjusts to fit whoever is doing the pulling.

We keep the lineup to three carts on purpose. Two 900 lbs models and one 1400 lbs model, each with 10-inch or 12.6-inch pneumatic tires depending on the size. That means fewer decisions and a clearer answer to the only question that matters: how much do you need to move?

Capacity ratings on our carts are based on evenly distributed weight across all four wheels, so load the bed evenly and check tire pressure before you head out. Tires ship partially inflated for safe transit and should be at 30 psi before use.

If you are hauling garden cleanup, firewood, pet supplies, or holiday decorations, there is a Garden Haul cart sized for it. Pick your capacity, hook it up, and get the job done in fewer trips.

Garden cart questions

Which cart should I choose, 900 lbs or 1400 lbs?

The 900 lbs carts suit typical yard work like bagged soil, mulch, tools, and garden cleanup. The 1400 lbs cart has a larger bed at 48 x 24 x 25.8 inches and is the better fit for firewood, stone, fence posts, and other dense loads.

Can I tow the cart behind a riding mower or ATV?

The 1400 lbs cart and the black 900 lbs cart both include a 2-in-1 convertible handle that switches to a hitch for towing behind riding lawn mowers, lawn tractors, and ATVs. The green 900 lbs cart is the hand-pull model.

Do the sides really come off?

Yes. The mesh steel side panels fold down or detach to convert the cart into a flatbed, which gives you extra room for branches, lumber, and other oversized items and makes unloading easier.

What should I know before first use?

Tires ship partially inflated for safe shipping. Check that all four are at 30 psi (2.1 bar) before use, and do not use the cart if pressure is above or below that. Rated capacity assumes the load is evenly distributed across all four wheels.
